Inclusive job description

A job ad written to attract diverse talent.

An inclusive job description is a role advert written to welcome a broad range of qualified candidates, avoiding gendered or exclusionary language and unnecessary requirements that deter capable applicants. It focuses on genuine essentials and the value of the role rather than a wish list. Because the job ad is often the first brand touchpoint, inclusive wording widens the applicant pool and signals the employer's values from the outset.
