Glassdoor rating

A public employee-review score used as a reputation signal.

A Glassdoor rating is a public score aggregated from employee reviews on the platform, widely used by candidates as a shortcut for judging what an employer is really like. Because it is seen as independent, it carries significant weight in the consideration stage and can help or hurt attraction regardless of your own messaging. Managing it means improving the underlying employee experience and responding to reviews openly, not gaming the number.
