How much does employer branding cost?

It ranges widely by scope — from internal-led work to six-figure global EVP programmes. The biggest cost is usually research and activation.

Cost scales with ambition. At the lean end, an internally led effort, such as employee stories, a sharper careers page and better job adverts, can cost little beyond time. At the other end, a global EVP programme with primary research, creative development and multi-market activation can run into six figures. Across that range, the two biggest line items are usually rigorous research and sustained activation, not the strategy document itself. It helps to budget for the ongoing work, since a one-off spend rarely shifts reputation. The pitfall is over-investing in polished creative before validating the underlying truth, or under-investing in research and then building expensive messaging on assumptions that do not hold up.
